We believe real world experience is essential for career development.

Across Key Stage 3 (KS3 Years 7–9), students engage with employers through school visits and workshops, gaining early insights into different professions.

In Year 10 (KS4) and Year 12 (KS5), all students complete a five day work experience placement.  These placements help develop key employability skills, build confidence and provide a first hand understanding of professional life.

Students are encouraged to find their own placements to build independence and initiative, while our Careers Team offers full support, from contacting employers to completing applications.  Students reflect on and share their experiences later in the Summer Term.
