Trust Celebration Service - St Andrew's Church, Holborn Posted: 12/06/26

The event was a joyful and reflective celebration of the journey we have shared, bringing our communities together in a spirit of unity, gratitude and optimism for the future.

Finchley secondary choirOn Tuesday 10 June, pupils, students, staff, governors and families gathered at the Sir Christopher Wren designed St Andrew’s Church, for a special service to mark the first anniversary of our three schools being together in the Wren Academies Trust.

The event was a joyful and reflective celebration of the journey we have shared, bringing our communities together in a spirit of unity, gratitude and optimism for the future.

A particular highlight of the service was the exceptional musical contribution of our young people from across both primary and secondary phases.  Individual school choirs sang beautifully, before joining together as a combined Trust choir to create a powerful and uplifting moment that captured the strength of collaboration across our schools.  This moment, as well as the prayers of our primary pupils and strong congregational singing accompanied by our joint Trust orchestra, provided opportunities for us to express our worship and commitment to a shared ethos.

Thoughtful and inspiring contributions from our six Head Students were poignant as they spoke eloquently about their positive experiences of representing their schools.  The presentations reflected the shared vision, values and ambition that underpin our work together as well as a commitment to ensuring that all members of our community are encouraged to flourish in every way.

We are extremely proud of all the students who took part and are grateful to all the staff that worked to produce such uplifting contributions from our pupils and students.
